Anyone have experience with using Wintotal to upload reports to a client using Appraisal Port?

Appraisers doing FANNIEMAE REO's are required to use Appraisal Port now. From my initial research it appears one needs to purchase XSITE from Alamode for about $300 to upload reports to Appraisal Port in an AI Ready format.

All inputs appreciated ahead of time. Thanks.

mg, is AIREADY format required? Or just AppraisalPort? In my experience, you can upload a PDF through appraisal port, too.

Jack, my experience with AP was years ago and I didn't have Xsite. Sorry. Best help I can offer.

The $300 upgrade to Xsite is what you gotta do for the AI ready report now required by Fannie for REO. Plus you will be forking over the $7 every time you get a new assignment. Don't ask me any tech questions because I ain't had to do it yet. I've spent the last 3 weeks getting the Appraisal Port, Xsite and Fannie secrete code installed on my system. Come Monday or so, I'll fumble through with the rest of the vendors to get it to work. I'm going to stumble through the new supplemental REO form too since I've never had to use that particular version. Gawd I hate change!

I used it for a while back when I was doing residential reviews. It works okay. At the time the AP system would rearrange report contents to fit their format, which I never liked. I solved that by rearranging my reports to fit their format.

The system works, though.

Jim: It's my understanding that the FANNIE REO system wants the reports in AI Ready format. PDF would be great, but I don't think they will accept it.

Thanks Chris, that's pretty much what I thought. We may cease doing FANNIE REO work. Hate to give it up, but I'm not sure I want to go through the hassle and expense of a new setup.

Must be in AIready format and I did like George and changed my format to avoid their changes. Also, they don't have exterior forms for the 1025 or 1004C AIready forms so now we have to use new "codes" on the forms to identify "E" for exterior and "I" for interior.

I believe the only way to maintain your report as written is to use ACI software.

ACI has to go through a conversion process to AIready also. It is a completely different program, I believe. Why would anybody contribute to LCI software anyway, it is quite clear they are the lender's choice, not the appraiser's choice.
