I think a good idea for 2009 is for folks to organize local peer review groups and improve your product. Most appraisers work by themselves or with a partner. There are many good ideas and practices that appraisers could discover if they would come out of their caves and try to learn from other appraisers.

It is a great idea. In fact, it probably could be packaged as a course...say an afternoon with your peers. A workshop to discuss problems and practices that we can improve upon. A one day work shop could have a residential and a general segment.
Anybody wanna take the bait and run?
Subjects? could be a mixed bag or run with a specific topic - maybe even invite the banking and underwriting community
