My password management could probably be better, but at least it isn't as bad as one person I know, whose password for everything is "password."

Billeo is free and has several features, but I only use the password manager.

I use robot which is free for up to 10 passwords. IE has a built-in version which sometimes conflicts with it.

I just use a little 2 ring binder that holds 3x5 cards.

One card per useage, ie.

First National Bank of Outer Mongolia
UserID.......MongolianBBQ
Password...Tasty
Acct# ........123456
Email..........Mongolian@aol.com
Pin #..........1234
Codeword....KLIYXCT56HGYT

If I change anything, I just change the card. The weak link is if someone breaks into my house and steals the little book. But, no hacker can get to it. I will routinely delete all passwords, etc. from my computer.
I'm mad as hell and I'm not gonna take this any more. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_qgVn-Op7Q

I used to use a password manager until I couldn't get into it to retrieve a password because I forgot the master password.

We have a handful of passwords that we use for certain things. The only password that is totally different from the rest is the one for on-line banking.
We're not being stopped by something on the outside, but by something on the inside.
