Email notice of new posts

Postby Alisa on Sun Aug 12, 2007 9:17 pm

Is there an option so that the new message is displayed in the email notice
you receive when someone posts in a thread you are subscribed to?

I get the notice but it doesn't report the message and I liked that feature.

Just wondering and if it can't happen, well, no problem.

Hmmm...just got an e-mail that I had a PM in my box. Not one there, and I am curious. Any idea why I got the e-mail for no reason?

No telling, Ben. That e-mail system needs work--work that none of the Admins is capable of doing at present, since it would involve editing the core code that runs the board. We can put a bug report on the freeforums support board, though. Let me know if this happens again.

I could see that happening if you'd read a PM while the notice was enroute, but I think from your post you had NO pm's to begin with, right?

That is correct. I sent one last night, but have never received a PM here.
