Bradford published MacAppraiser over 15 years ago. About a year after I bought it, they were touting Appraisers Toolbox. When Appraisers Toolbox came out, it was Windows only. They abandoned support for MacAppraiser, and I abandoned them.

WP hasn't had a Mac version since Corel bought it, but I think you'll find NeoOffice (Mac version of OpenOffice) to your liking. It's free. (Well, let me correct that: You *won't* like it, because you've got to do a lot of things differently than WordPerfect does them. Nobody likes to change a work flow that works.)

That's good info. Thanks, Jim.

Man, wouldn't it be ironic if I decided not to go Mac because of WP after MS virtually deep-sixed them?

Well, NeoOffice will import WP files, so you can keep your templates and formats. It will also import all the MSOffice files, including Access. And I've got some NeoOffice templates you can use. (Sales grid, 1004, and cost approach).

Neo's a pretty good program. It's even got a vector drawing component that works well. It's not a direct substitute for MSOffice, but it's getting darn close.

Thanks, Jim... I'll keep that offer in mind if I make the change. If my residential business stays the way it is I might consider dumping Clickforms and going to an all narrative process. Having a good grid would be very helpful.

Yes, VISTA SUCKS!

I bought a laptop last week off of Craig's List because I could stand another VISTA machine.

MicroSlow may be near the end of their run anyway.

Of course, like Hillary, I would never count them out until the last bell has rung.
