Google Desktop Lock up

Postby Pina Colada on Wed Aug 27, 2008 5:49 pm

Using Google as a search engine, Internet Explorer locks up every time Google Desktop finds a match on my computer. Turn off Google Desktop and everything works fine. Tried removing and re-installing Google Desktop, no change.

Any ideas?

I'm just guessing here, but maybe MicroSlow wants you to use their search engine instead. I use Mozilla, but MS would not let me download it from Explorer... it took a special trick to do that.

I would tend to think Steve is correct. I had the Desktop downloaded and liked it for a while but then realized how much it slowed down my computer - I removed it.

I am not talking about slow. I am talking about locked up. Even if I want to, I can't use it to search my own files any more.
