Mortgage fraud fighters are busy these days, as evidenced by a string of fresh arrests.

Three more names have been added to the list of indictments in a fraud ring that bought high-end homes in gated communities such as Versailles: (others named in this article http://g2.palmbeachpost.com/blogs/conte ... _this.html )

Danny Mesidort, head of Florida All Insurance in Delray Beach, faces two counts of fraud. Mesidort vouched for bogus incomes on loan applications. Among his alleged whoppers: Yeah, sure, that part-time Publix cashier makes $340k a year at my company.

Ria Sigala, a Bank of America employee, faces three counts of fraud. She helped doctor loan applications by signing forms verifying that straw borrowers had six-figure balances in their accounts, the FBI alleges.

Maxone Charles faces two counts of fraud. The feds haven’t released any information about Charles.
