Dosen, 30, of Philadelphia; Paula Ramos, 52, of Miami; Elba Emilia Perez, 43, of Lehigh Acres; Fernando Soto, 37, of Miami; Antonio Abreu, 63, of Hialeah; Yosvany Abreu Garcia, 34, of Fort Myers; and Erick Valdes, 35, of Miami, are alleged to have defrauded two banks out of more than $3 million in fraudulent loans, according to a news release from the acting U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Florida.

Yosvany Abreu Garcia and Erick Valdes, a licensed real estate appraiser, recruited defendants into the scheme and received payments from the loan proceeds for their participation, according to the news release.
