Got a good product you enjoy using? Let one of the Mods or Admins know, and we'll add it here. This list is a seed list, and I know I'll miss a few good ones.

Appraisal Forms Software:
ACI: www.aciweb.com
Alamode (WinTotal, Athena, Aurora): www.alamode.com
Bradford Technology (ClickForms): www.bradfordsoftware.com
DayOne: www.day1.com/

Other Useful Software:
Apex (sketching/drawing) Medina and Nexus: www.apexwin.com/v5/home.php
WinSketch (Sketching/Drawing): www.winsketch.com/

Open Source Software: It's all free, but some of it is command-line driven. GRASS has a particularly steep learning curve.
OpenOffice (Full office suite competing with Microsoft Office--but it's free. Includes a drawing module for sketches): www.openoffice.org
R (A statistical analysis program comparable to S or S-plus--but it's free): www.r-project.org
GRASS (A full-blown GIS system--free): grass.itc.it/
QGIS (A GiS map viewer. Works with GRASS, but GRASS isn't needed if you already have the maps): www.qgis.org/

Measuring Tools:
Appraisers Depot (Disto laser devices and other stuff): www.appraiserdepot.com/

A post by Goodpasture reminded me of Karen's Power Tools just in time for my Vault replacement project. Particularly the Replicator program. It minds your changed files. Easy to set up. Free.

Carbonite which I read about in a Ken Rossman post among others. Some don't like it, but my trial is up tomorrow and I plan to buy a year. I have to check, but the one thing I do not like is that you can only access it from the licensed computer. Is that right Ken or anyone?

So now I can easily back up changes to an ext drive and to online storage. My next project is my website. I switched it the night before the designer, another Renee  took off to China for two weeks on business. She should be back tomorrow so I am looking forward to having more than the page and email, and to have her work up a clean, polished site. She did my cards, logo, stationery.

I prefer http://www.gadwin.com/printscreen/ for screen capture and print screen software.
