Bought my son a Fuji S700 yesterday. Pretty sweet little point and shoot. It has 10x optical zoom, easy menus, and the ability to switch between viewing the shot on the screen or through the view finder. Not bad for a $230 camera.

This V705 I just got is pretty good so far. I really like the wide-angle shots. What I wasn't expecting was the video capability and the damn thing is so small!!

Small is the one thing I did not want. My son has autism, large hands, and somewhat impaired motor coordination. Best Buy and other similar stores didn't have anything to offer. Small cameras might fit a niche, but there should be a place for larger cameras with easy to use controls in the market as well.
