Watch out for this ad

Postby Steve Owen on Mon Apr 28, 2008 3:01 pm

I was just doing some posting, when a box flashed up with the words "You Have a New Message." Well, I thought it looked too hokey to be an official communication, but I went and looked at my messages box just to be sure (I did not "click here"). The ad people are getting more clever all the time. How can you tell if an advertisement is legitimate? Well, IMHO the first test would be if it is a legitimate ad they probably don't need to try and trick you into clicking it.
