There's legalized prostitution of older, well-trained girls too, Chris. But if all one wants is his ashes hauled, one needn't travel so far.

I'd like to attend some of those seminars, but my schedule's too full. How many people do you know who could even begin to appraise an airport, a railroad, air rights in a railroad right-of-way, a hydroelectric dam, or an offshore oil platform? This sounds like a fine opportunity to broaden one's horizons, even if you never appraise a railroad.

I'm humble enough to believe that those courses are way above me. However, I wish some of the courses more within my educational means were offered in more interesting locations than most of them are.

As for the prostitution... little kids, that's just sick. And, the more well trained adults... sounds like that could make you sick. Think I'll pass.

I don't know about Thailand, but I have heard that some Asian countries expect substantially more of real estate appraisers than does the US. Maybe shoring up professional attitude would be worth the trip.
