Auto pruning

Postby Jim Plante on Fri Jun 20, 2008 6:18 pm

I have no idea how it got set, but our Break Room section was set to automatically prune posts more than seven days old. That's ridiculously short for anything but the Test forum. None of us Admins did it.

The damage is that many good posts were deleted. I originally thought one of the other admins had set it for some reason (prevention of litigation snoopers, maybe), so I set it for 60 days. After talking to the others, I've disabled auto-pruning altogether. If that section gets too big and unwieldly, we can manually delete older posts. Otherwise, they stay. As the original poster, you can delete your own posts if you get tired of reading them.

Can I delete Edd's posts if I can't understand them?
