The Saga of Adverse Possession

Postby Jay Trotta on Thu Jun 26, 2008 6:37 am

Today I'm going on an adventure into a "taking by adverse possession" - meeting with the attorney involved in this nightmare court case in which, we will need to dentermine a "monetary loss" as percieved by the Title Company. This should be an interesting case and as the progress goes I will bring back whatever information I can for ya'll to view.

I have not at this point begun to research anything as I felt it extremely important to meet with the attorney first and see what he has to offer. This is a waterfront parcel, so I'm sure the Deed predates 1920 and with that comes a slew of wierdness.

It should be interesting, but it is definetly not your run of the mill residential appraisal. Wonder what the Legal Permitted Use notes in the Deed.....hmmm

Cool!
We're not being stopped by something on the outside, but by something on the inside.
