Rules for the New Trainee Section

Postby Otis on Sun Aug 12, 2007 8:42 pm

Welcome to the forum, and thanks for stopping by to check us out. We've been active for only a short while, so we haven't developed much content yet. You may find some of the present posts useful, but we haven't yet developed the material that a new trainee might expect to find in this section.

Here are just a few of the topics which may appear in this section in the near future:
    * How do I find a mentor?
    * How much can I expect to make as a trainee?
    * How long must my supervisor accompany me on inspections? How long should s/he?
    * What should I NOT agree to when joining an appraisal firm as a trainee?

There are a lot of experienced professionals here who will help you become a better appraiser. Most of our senior members have their own businesses and have hired and trained several appraisers over the years. And there aren't any dumb questions.

-------

Reminder to those "more experienced" apprasiers - this section is for the "newbies", "trainees", "apprentices" or "wanta be" appraisers/people. Clowning posts should really be in the Break Room or one of the "rooms" (men's/women's).
