AOL REPORTS "REAL ESTATE APPRAISER" to be the top job in the county !!!!

Feeling down about the profession lately? This should cheer you up. AOL is reporting that "Real Estate Appraiser" is the top job in the country. Top job being defined as the highest paying salary for a non-degree employee!!

For more information and link to the article check out www.betterappraisers.blogspot.com

If you feel you are not operating at your full potential, consider a personal coach/mentor. Email me to discuss your goals.

Is it unrealistic to expect better from a fellow appraiser, especially a SRA?

His blog is too cumbersome to respond on, so I sent him this email:

Quote:
Hi,

I tried to comment on the blog but for some reason can't.

That article is very misleading and it would have been good if you had commented on it instead of just publishing an article with such mis-information.

For starters, there is a oversupply of appraisers already and secondly, there WILL be a degree requirement starting Jan 1, 2008.

He's an idiot ... I had to deal with him on the other forum ... he's tired of being an appraiser, so now he is a cheerleader and trying to make a living telling everyone else how to do it ...

What a maroon ....

He is also known as the Appraisal Coach, which is ow he posts on AF. He started his own forum a while back which is being frequented by the likes of what's that whiney trainee's name. Larry somebody.

I just got an answer from him to my email.

I didn't mean for it to be misleading, I basically just put up the link.

FYI I am looking for someone to help publish the blog as I do not have
the time to put into each article by myself. If you would like to be a
contributor or know anyone, please let me know!

Thanks

Ed

I am not going to bother responding. I have work to do and if he doesn't understand there is a problem with his post, he is probably beyond help.

That's where genteel landed as well. He must be welcomed with open arms over there. I lurked there a few times. Not much going on except for AC's solicitations for his "mentoring" services.

I don't know why Edd didn't think of it before Ed...
He could provide legal defense when someone took his advice and double dip his income... Smile

When I interned in law, my boss hired people to back into telephone poles, develop "whiplash", and then his stable of doctors would verify the extent of the injuryies from the "hit and run."

That is where I learned how "unetical" (that is dutch for unethical) practices are done big time. At least big time for appraisers, peanuts when it comes to Enron.

You might have something Ter. Give bad appraisal advice with plenty of CYA and then represent somebody in the fall out.
