Maybe God is on the GOP side.

Already attacked by the liberal spin doctors as having no experience, she has more of a record of political accomplishment that Barak Flim-flama.

Already attacked by liberal spin-doctors as being no Hillary, they are right - she earned a resume and did not just ride on her husband's coattails. Palin is a real women of accomplishment, not one of fabricated accomplishment.

For the first time in many, many years, I plan to vote, vote Republican, and amexcited about it. It has been disheartening to raise children who are very interested in who is good and who is bad, and who we vote for, and frustrating to have to tell them they are all bad. I'm on the good guy team now. This woman has stood up to crooked politicians of her own party. Vote McCain/Palin!

She has the most amazing resume I ever heard. The only ones going through culture shock are the Flim-flama office of propaganda. It's not even one day, since they tried to have Zeus climb Mount Olympus and pretend to be a reverse Oreo cookie - and everyone is already talking about the exciting new "change" candidate of the other party. I'd rather have Palin at the top of the ticket.

I would too, but I can not discount McCain sitting as a prisoner of war and heck, he did have the good judgement to pick her. I wasn't even going to vote.

You have got to be kidding. Right?

18 months ago Sarah Palin was the part-time mayor of a city of 6,000 people. Now John McCain wants to put her a [72-year-old] heartbeat away from the presidency.

Additionally, she's currently under investigation for abuse of power, which I suppose makes her a typical Republican politician, but seriously, aside from the obvious MILF factor, I think you really should think this one through a little further.

This could very well be the most cynical and misguided VP pick in US history. Thanks, McCain!

It's truly absurd how easily some sheeple can be [mis]lead.

It’s not only fair, but critical in this case, to ask if she’s up for the job of commander in chief. We just can’t afford a gamble like this with our future.”

It makes her a 'typical Republican' only because if she were a Democrat the press would simply fail to report the story. In fact, this 'investigation' is the result of a disgruntled state employee who refused to take another position Palin offered him. Just a bunch of MOVE ON hot-air..

Very much unlike Obama who can't even stand up to them in his own state, county, and city. Of course if he had, nobody would have ever heard of him.

I fail to see your point. Are you implying that because I said "heartbeat away" I got my information from Move On? I believe the "heartbeat away" terminology is a fairly common reference for US VP discussions. I hate to disappoint you, but I've never been to Move On. Not once. Ever. I do have the ability to think for myself however, and the very notion that this Palin pick has sweetened you up on McCain -- after all the "inexperienced" slagging of Obama -- would be absolutely hilarious, if it weren't so pathetic. She's got nuthin'; he's got nuthin'.

It's fitting that today's press conference for this train wreck of a campaign was held at the Nutter Center.

Not a big McCain fan, as a senator of course. With his choice of Madam Governor Palin, I have become a little more excited about the election. Looking at her bio/resume, she appears to be intelligent, successful and independent. Looking at her accomplishments, it appears she trumps BO. Not to be a pig, she is pretty damn hot too!

BTW, I caught about ten minutes of what I thought was a spoof on the Comedy Channel. I found it funny that BO said our energy consumption has tripled since McCain became a Senator. Did it ever occur to him that the population, number of cars and houses has increased over the past three decades? Another funny was his promise to entice automakers of the hybrids to build the cars in the US to keep autoworkers employed. I thought the GM, Ford, Toyota and Honda hybrids were already made here? He said something about stopping small businesses from paying capital gains taxes. I didn't think small businessess paid capital gains taxes? The thousands at his speech reminded me of baby birds with their mouths wide open waiting for mama to drop a worm in.

You have parroted the Dims talking points which are sent out by Move On and distributed throughout the main stream media. That quote from MOVE ON was from a mainstream NEWS STORY. You could be a mind-numbed robot and not even know it....

Palin's Resume

Postby Jim Mallon on Fri Aug 29, 2008 4:23 pm

Here's what you've all been raving about. From wikipedia, couldn't post the link.

Palin served two terms on the Wasilla City Council from 1992 to 1996. In 1996, she challenged and defeated the incumbent mayor, criticizing wasteful spending and high taxes.[6] The ex-mayor and sheriff tried to organize a recall campaign, but failed.[6] Palin followed through on her campaign promises to reduce her own salary, and to reduce property taxes by 60%.[6] She ran for reelection against the former mayor in 1999, winning by an even larger margin.[6][11] Palin was also elected president of the Alaska Conference of Mayors.[12]

In 2002, Palin made an unsuccessful bid for Lieutenant Governor, coming in second to Loren Leman in a five-way race in the Republican primary. After Frank Murkowski resigned from his long-held U.S. Senate seat in mid-term to become governor, Palin interviewed to be his possible successor. Instead, Murkowski appointed his daughter, then-Alaska State Representative Lisa Murkowski.[6]

Governor Murkowski appointed Palin Ethics Commissioner of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission,[13] where she served from 2003 to 2004 until resigning in protest over what she called the "lack of ethics" of fellow Alaskan Republican leaders, who ignored her whistleblowing complaints of legal violations and conflicts of interest.[14][6] After she resigned, she exposed the state Republican Party's chairman, Randy Ruedrich, one of her fellow Oil & Gas commissioners, who was accused of doing work for the party on public time, and supplying a lobbyist with a sensitive e-mail.[15] Palin filed formal complaints against both Ruedrich and former Alaska Attorney General Gregg Renkes, who both resigned; Ruedrich paid a record $12,000 fine.[6]

She was elected governor in November 2006.

The population of Wasilla is 6715.

(Emphases added.)

Count me as underwhelmed.

Almost as underwhelming as Flim-flama. Unless you want to count 20 years serving as sycophant at the First Church of God Dam America as a foreign policy credential.

I suppose you would be breaking some liberal code of conduct by telling the truth, but I'll keep it a secret, if you go ahead and tell the truth, just this once. She has more qualfications to be President than Flim-flama. Right? As a chief executive, she has actually caused "change."

Here's what you've all been raving about.
Actually, what I have been raving about is more like the fact that she played point guard in a championship game with a broken ankle. She could not only whip that wimp Obarfa in a debate, she could probably beat his butt at basketball, too.

I am talking about the fact that the first thing she did as Governor was say - I don't need a private plane - and sold it on Ebay.
I am talking about the fact then when oil prices skyrocketed, she returned the tax windfall to the people.
I am talking about the fact that she took on "big oil."
I am talking about the fact that her son volunteered to serve his country in the Army. And he is going to Iraq. That ought to add some spice to the debates.
I am talking about the fact that she is a MOTHER OF FIVE.
I am talking about the fact that she is a real American. Not some Harvard, liberal, internationalist, elitist, flim-flam man pretending to be something he isn't, who has to be browbeaten into wearing the US flag, saying the pledge of allegiance, pretending to be something he isn't, making phoney condemnations of his pastor from the First Chuch of God Dam America - but only after the guy become a liability
And above all, I am talking about the fact that she actually had a job, got it on her own and did something with it. Flim-flama has only talked the talk. She walked the walk.

Just wondering - in four or eight years, when Palin runs for President, what hogwash are going to make up then?
